    Description

This is a 1991 personal check signed by legendary NFL Hall of Fame coach HANK STRAM (see picture). Hank Stram was the first head coach of the old American Football League's DALLAS TEXANS, which in 1963 moved to Kansas City and became the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS. Stram coached the Texans/Chiefs from 1960 through 1974, winning AFL Championships in 1962, 1966, and 1969. He was named AFL Coach of the Year in 1968. Stram led the Chiefs to two Super Bowls, losing to Green Bay in Super Bowl I and defeating Minnesota in Super Bowl IV. He later coached the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS for two seasons, 1976-77. Hank Stram was elected to the Football Hall of Fame in 2003. Unfortunately, he passed away on July 4, 2005 at the age of 82.  This check is clean and intact, with a bold signature.  It exhibits the usual bank marks, folds, and cancellations. This check would make a wonderful addition to your own collection, or it would make an inexpensive and unique gift for that Hank Stram enthusiast, Chiefs or Saints fan, or vintage Hall of Fame autograph collector in your life! Postage is .50.  And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping.  Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
