A hand embroidery book featuring a collection of over 50 hand embroidery border patterns that can be used to decorate kitchen towels, pillow cases, tote bags, quilts, and more.
The book measures 8.5" x 11" with the patterns printed on one side of the page so they can be traced easier. The embroidery patterns include a twelve birth month flower series. Designs featuring scottie dogs and other animals, butterflies, and a variety of florals. Many holiday and seasonal designs including Valentine's Day, Autumn and Christmas ornaments. There are embroidery tips and supply suggestions as well.
It's easy to trace the patterns from the book. You can lay your fabric directly on the pattern in the book you want to trace or use a piece of tracing paper and use a black Papermate Flair marker or similar to trace the design and make a pattern. Then put the tracing paper on a lightbox or window and your fabric or towel on top of that. I use a fine tip black #02 Micron ink pen to trace the pattern onto the fabric.
