Description
ITEM DESCRIPTION::-----This piece of unmarked Fenton carnival glass is a dated souvenir for the American Carnival Glass Club (one of the oldest such clubs).... Nice odd blue example --it was made in 1985 for the club to commemorate their convention in Elkhart , IN..... No chips or cracks or unattractive marks on this pretty spittoon......Pattern consists of water scenery with fish, sailboats, lighthouses, a rising sun, etc.... ..
----Club records show Fenton made this souvenir in a Teal Blue color for the club...I consider teal blue to have a greenish tint, and this doesn't have such look....This item has the look of a celeste blue or sapphire blue...Seeck auctions sold one in sept 2013, listed as celeste blue, for 160...I don't consider it Teal, so I am just calling it an odd blue color...
-------Imprint on the base is Elkhart, IN.........ACGA......1985.........Base has a Northwood paper label--ACGA owned said trademark during this time period.......................................
---------This item measures approx. 3.875" tall and 4.875" across at the top, with 3.25" across the base.......
..............................All items must be mailed--no pick up or delivery......
