    Description

SENSA CRYSTAL SILVER ROLLERBALL or BALLPOINT PEN
About 20 years ago, my ex- got gifted this pen from the actual owner of the Sensa company. It has sat in drawers in various desks (all indoors) since then, and now we have moved. I discovered it in a drawer – in the inner clear plastic case – in the box – and in the outer box. What a cool find!
However, when I opened it to see if the ink is good, I discovered a few things:
#1 – The plasmium grip appeared to melt into a clear, sticky goo. Yuck. I checked online and sure enough, these pens do get the sticky goo. I didn’t use any kind of cleaning fluid or even water to get the goo off – rather I just used a dry paper towel and twisted it like a barber pole until it was clean. That worked and now it’s not sticky and gooey any more.
While it was sitting unused for all those years, naturally the clear plasmium goo also oozed and pooled on the cardboard liner in the plastic case. I cleaned that off the same way and that’s no longer gooey.
#2 – Quite pleased with my cleaning prowess, I tried to write with it… at first it didn’t write. I was sad. :>(  Then I tried some swirls and it finally started writing! :>)  But then it stopped. :>(
    So. I. Give. Up.
Honestly, I’m not sure if the ink (rollerball or ballpoint – I do not know) dried up or something is clogged or what... but I am selling this as-is, with no guarantees on anything. All I do know is that it is a genuine Sensa pen with documentation, with the clear plastic display case, inside the original Sensa box, and inside the outer Sensa box sleeve. There is some scraping on the edges of the (mostly outer) box as seen in my pics.
Such is life – it is what it is.
If you are a collector, just want the specimen and don’t care if it works or not, lucky for you. :>)  Or, if you happen to have an appropriate ink cartridge and want to use it for writing, also lucky for you. :>)  For me, not so lucky because I thought it would fetch more money but I’m being fair with the price. :>(
It’s a crazy world and there are way worse things going on than me getting less than I expected for this great pen.
No returns. No shipping out of the United States. No nothing except what you see in the photos. I repeat: NO RETURNS. No guarantees.   Enjoy!
