The PacTool SS724 Snapper Shear Pro Fiber Cement Cutting Shear is a universal shear head designed to cut fiber cement backer board like HardieBacker. It attaches to any cordless drill you already own (18-Volt or higher is recommended) Because this tool cuts fiber cement with a shearing action it makes virtually no dust allowing you to cut indoors.
Designed to cut both 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. backer board the tools head can rotate 360° to make straight right-angle and curve cuts with precision. The shear head can even make circle cuts as small as 3 in. Dia for toilet flanges (although a 1 in. spade bit is recommended to start the cut). The handle rotates for left or right-handed users.
