The Macroview otoscope from Welch Allyn has been designed to provide a durable and reliable diagnostic tool with exceptional magnification and lighting.
High quality magnification:
The MacroView Otoscope gives 30% higher magnification and twice the field of view compared to standard otoscopes, allowing for dramatically improved visuals of the auditory canal and an almost complete view of the tympanic membrane.
Excellent lighting:
MacroView utilizes fiber optic technology for unheated light and unobstucted, non-reflective examination. This allows for a more comfortable patient experience, and provides clinicians with optimal examination conditions. This otoscope uses Welch Allyn's SureColor LED lamping for bright white light and true tissue color illumination, and better clarity and definition of landmarks.
Easy to use:
This otoscope features a focusing wheel allowing practitioners to fine-tune visuals and successfully view variable ear canal lengths. MacroView also includes a tip grip for secure fastening and retention, and easy release of specula. Additionally, MacroView is supplied with reusable, sterilizable ear specula.
Throat Illuminator:
This otoscope can optionally be configured to include a throat illuminator providing a duality designed to expand the practitioner's diagnostic capabilities, while further streamlining the examination process and saving both storage space and time.
